Previously, we left Ripley pregnant and alone. In the snow.
Things do get better.

Dear Mama,


Holy crap!


So, you and Daddy are grandparents. Twice.


There's a she - named Norma - and a he - named Tucker.
They've both come up with Dad's and my colouring, but Norma has my eyes and hair, while Tucker has Yuki's.


I love them completely.


I want so badly to be good at this.


That doesn't always work out the way I want...


But I'm trying. And I'm learning so much.
How on earth did you manage to do all this for us?


They're growing so fast, Ma!
I'm sure we-all were much slower growers back in the day.


Norma's got a downcast little puckish face, and a jawline to watch.


Tucker will steal your heart. And anything else that is roughly food-like, if you leave it close enough to the floor.

I want so badly to share this stage of their life with you, but in these living circumstances photos are beyond me!
Keeping the social worker at bay is hard enough.


Thank heavens for Romero!


He's very good at caring for one while I feed/wash/change/rescue the other.


The maternity leave eventually ran out, and I hired a nanny with trepidation and headed back to the service station.
Promotion! Thank goodness. Now I've got most of the holes in the walls bricked back in.


And the birthdays roll around once more!


I'm going to have to get a shotgun or something when Norma transitions to teenhood.


And Tucker...


Tucker is still my little angel.


Mostly.

And then.

Just when I least expected it...


Something wonderful happened.

 Notes: The twins were totally natural. My game hates me. The lack of toddler pictures is exactly what Ripley says - too much trying to keep everyone alive, not enough screenshotting, sorry! Also, since this is a reboot of this generation, I'm naming exclusively from the 2004 Dawn of the Dead reboot. It makes sense to me. Cheers!

Oh, cutie pies! Idk which kiddo i love more... That's one awesome kidlet-machine that Ripley turned out to be :D And i expect more pretties to come out of that "something wonderful" that happened to her at the end :) Can't go wrong with Alle/ Joedy kids, methinks.

I'm so pleased with Ripley's genetics :D I'm definitely thanking Engram and my lucky stars for her. I can't wait to see what the next babies are like either ;)

The kids are both adorable but I'm afraid I am currently harboring an intense amount of love for Norah.
And something wonderful for Ripley makes me extremely happy.

Obviously twins are genetic :) In my game the family had two sets of twins :)

Tucker and Norma are so uber cute! Norma looks a lot like Ripley but with some differences, which is absolutely fantastic.

Good to see that things are getting better for the family! Brick up some more walls Ripley!

Thankies Engram! I am a rampant and unashamed user of the forcetwins cheat, so these two came as a bit of a surprise :D I do love it when that sort of things runs in families, though. Glad you like the kiddies, and thanks for reading :)

I hope you don't mind me asking, but where can I get that pooklet retexture of the Peggy hair on Ripley? I swear I've seen it somewhere but I cannot for the life of me find it again. ):

I'm a tad late to the actual reading of this RR, but I've been watching the community since the near beginning! It's unfortunate what happened with the person who was supposed to do the second gen. But it's okay, because we get to see your cute Sims sooner. ;)
